Grilled cheese

I love grilled cheese. Easy to make in a pan.

1. Put pan on stove and turn on medium heat.

2. Butter 2 pieces of toast.

2. Place toast on stove, butter side down.

4. Get cheese out of fridge. If it's in a block, slice what you want. Keep slices thin so they will melt easily.

5. When toast looks brown, flip.

6. Place cheese on both pieces of toast.

7. Wait for cheese to melt a bit, but not so long that toast starts to burn. 2-3 minutes usually.

8. Put one piece of toast on top of the other to make the sandwich.

9. Turn off stove and let it sit a couple more minutes so cheese melts more.

There are many many variations  you could do here. I like to add sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, which I tend to keep a bottle of in the fridge. Ham is good. Any cured meat. Cooked spinach and/or mushroom, if you're feeling "healthy."

Enjoy!
